Ms. Caroline Sferrazza, MS, serves on the Science Writing team at RLA. As a Science Writer/Analyst, she develops expert and lay documents designed to move science forward—including literature reviews, meeting reports, website content, and social media plans—and delivers high-level research, analysis, and project management support for underlying research projects. Ms. Sferrazza has spent nearly a decade in both public outreach and laboratory science in neuroscience and psychology. Prior to joining RLA, she conducted Alzheimer’s, ALS, and schizophrenia research at the University of California, San Diego, The Rockefeller University, and Columbia University. Simultaneously with her research roles, Ms. Sferrazza has led public outreach efforts for science institutions. She served as Director of UCSD’s Neurosciences Outreach Program, Director of Public Relations for Neurophotometrics, and Writer/Web Manager/Producer for the Once A Scientist Podcast. Ms. Sferrazza completed an MS in neuroscience at UCSD and a BA in neuroscience and behavior from Vassar College.
