Ms. Bennett has extensive experience managing meetings and events for a variety of organizations, both government and corporate. She has a solid background in the myriad skills that comprise a successful meeting: site selection, contract negotiations, budget development and tracking, marketing, logistics, program content and development, on-site management, and post-event follow-up. In addition, she has extensive experience managing and working with both internal and external stakeholders.

A background in associations has made Ms. Bennett adept at working in member-centric organizations, understanding the different dynamics and cultural sensitivities that can exist. Recently, as a consultant for the School Nutrition Association, she managed the educational programming for two major annual conferences. As Director of Conventions and Education at SIGMA, she handled the planning and development of meetings and events, from annual conferences to board meetings. Previously, she spent 15 years at the National Association of Home Builders, where she held positions of increasing responsibility in conference and event management.
